National Jug Band Jubilee is free to the public, and held in an open-air theater in Louisville Waterfront Park. Therefore, there are no “gates to open”….but hours of the festival run from Noon until 11 PM. Please consult the schedule for further details.
Festival parking is free and plentiful, using all of Waterfront Park’s nearby facilities as Jubilee parking. There will be golf cart shuttles roaming around to give to-the-venue rides anyone that wants one.
Please, Do not bring coolers or pets (excluding service dogs) to the Jubilee. We will have a wide variety of refreshments for sale.
Brown Forman Amphitheater is an open-air theater with no actual “seating”, but plenty of places to sit. You may get a spot on the concrete ledges which make up the terracing of the theater itself, but you may also want to bring a camp chair to take advantage of the not-a-bad-spot layout of the amphitheater. There’s plenty of room to stretch out, and if you have a pop-up, you may place it at the TOP of the hill, so long as it doesn’t obstruct anyone else’s view.
There WILL be a variety of food and drink vendors at the Jubilee, with fantastic, reasonably priced, jubilee-staff-selected offerings. Bring an appetite.
There WILL be beer and wine available on tap for purchase.
There WILL be a table offering merchandise from the Jubilee and performers. All merchandise will be a cash-or-credit only, no returns accepted.
